Actually, I can aske something. I am NOT a microbiologist...what is the creature on the right? The one on the left I recognize as an amœba. I have not been able to figure out the identity of the disappointed one.
I thought it was 'paramecia' (which sounds more mysterious anyway.) No doubt, using the word paramecia and 'rishathra' in the same cartoon would elevate the obscurity to a sublime level.

ReplyDeleteIt is a dididdium. It is a carnivorous species, and eats parameciums, often ten times its size by injesting them through its snout.
